Altamonte Springs
Altamonte Springs is the second largest city in Seminole County and boasts an ideal location at the cross roads of Interstate 4 and State Road 436. The area derives its name from the many spring-fed lakes which were an attraction in the late 19th century when it was mainly a small winter resort town.
Its a Focal Point !
It is a retail center point for much of Seminole and northern Orange counties. In the heart of the retail area is Uptown Altamonte and Cranes Roost Lake - a newly developed and re-developed area consisting of upper-end condominiums and apartments, businesses, retail and boutique shops, restaurants, an 18 screen movie theater, and the Altamonte Mall. With a floating stage and the Eddie Rose 950 seat amphitheater, the lake is the focal point of fun. With its boardwalk around and across the lake, the area has been developed for residents and visitors alike to enjoy art shows, festivals and concerts, including: Car Cruise, Cranes Comedy Shows and Streetmosphere.
