Alaqua

Alaqua is a very upscale guard-gated community located at the northern portion of the highly desirable  Markham Woods Corridor location in Longwood Florida.   Development began in the late 1980s and continues to the present day.  Nearly all of the homes are custom and situated one 1+ acre lots.  Sizes range from 2,800 to more than 10,000 square feet of living space.  The community has a Gary Player designed golf course which runs throughout the community. Prices for existing homes range from the $500,000s to more than $3 million.

Recently, Standard Pacific has opened a new neighborhood in Alaqua - Reserve At Alaqua.   Reserve At Alaqua will consist of approximately 20 large four and five bedroom homes adjacent to the golf course clubhouse.  Prices start in the $600,000s.

Alaqua is conveniently located just south of Lake Mary Boulevard with easy access to I-4.  Shopping and restaurants are located nearby in Heathrow and along Lake Mary Boulevard.
