One of the most successful and largest gated and guarded communities in all of Florida, Heathrow contains custom and production homes within its 30 distinct neighborhoods.  There are two main entrances - each less than a mile off Interstate 4.  It has a large park - Sawyer Lake Park, which includes a clubhouse, basketball court, ball field, dock, extensive playground equipment and outdoor pavilions complete with BBQ grills. The Heathrow Country Club tennis courts, lakeside swimming pool, excercise facility and golf course are located on its southern border.  Homes in Heathrow are both custom built and production built and many homes in Heathrow are lakefront and lakeview and others feature golf course frontage and views.
